Anne-Marie Withenshaw has been a daily fixture on both French and English TV and radio since 1998. After her start as a VJ on MusiquePlus, where she had the chance to meet rock legends and rising international rock stars, Anne-Marie began to travel the globe for Quebec’s entertainment show Flash. She covered international film festivals and galas, interviewing personalities and newsmakers with the show’s famous yellow microphone. She then went on to host the fledgling La Fosse Aux Lionnes (2006), a daily current affairs talk show on Radio-Canada (SRC-CBC). A decided foodie, Anne-Marie visited close to 300 restaurants for Évasion channel’s Guide Restos Voir, and she currently co-hosts the culinary competition show À Couteaux tirés, on CASA, and Pressure Cooker, on W Network. Since 2008, she has been one of a quartet of hosts on ARTV’s C’est juste de la TV.
Word from Anne-Marie Withenshaw
This will be my first time as spokesperson for the Montreal International Design Show, and I must express what a pleasure and an honour it is. For the last 17 years, my work has afforded me the privilege of discovering the most superb hotels, restaurants and other exceptional locations of all kinds, and to realize that design is everywhere. And on a more personal note, I have spent five years renovating a century-old home, which has allowed me to meet singularly talented creators, artisans and specialized professionals from Quebec and to develop an ever-growing interest in interior design. I am therefore most eager to embark on my very first SIDIM to discover the latest innovations in decoration, interior design, construction and renovation. I invite both professionals and amateurs alike to come and celebrate this 27th edition of the Montreal International Design Show with me!
