SIDIM celebrates design throughout the show! A full day of networking activities, cocktail receptions and artistic performances not to be missed! An exciting program of activities will occur around the show’s famous Rendez-vous du design, a series of cocktail receptions, and the new formula of the Awards Ceremony (prix d’excellence).

Competition The SICO-SIDIM AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Acknowledging your talent.
Sico is offering a chance for Quebec Design graduates from trade schools offering a diploma in decorating and CEGEP to stand out by submitting to us a project where color takes the center stage. In addition to receiving a study grant, the finalists will have the chance to present their projects at SIDIM 2009, taking place on May 21st to 23rd In Montreal. In addition, the grand prizewinner will receive their own space free of charge within the Tribune des designers at SIDIM 2010 to present their project.

Competition CLU by Lumec
The Lumec foundation Fondation Concept Lumière Urbaine (CLU) supports the new generation of designers in developing innovative lighting concepts within the context of outdoor public spaces. CLU promotes excellence by enhancing a thorough integration of product aesthetics, providing the technological cutting edge in exterior lighting and respect for the environment.
Associated with SIDIM for its 21th edition, Lumec will present the winning concepts within the theme space Bâtir. Numerous merit awards will be granted by a jury comprised of professionals involved in the community of Quebec designers and creators.
